Osian was a geart trading center on the silk route from the 8th to 12th century AD. It boasts of a number of intricately carved Hindu and Jain temples dating back to the 6th century. The Majestic Sachiya Mata temple and the Surya temple are particularly noteworthy for their carvings and architectural grandeur.
The Private or Mobile Camp has its roots in the hunting trips of Rajput Kings and the famlies choise of life style where they went into the wild to hunt game. These hunting trips were often more than a day so they came equiped with all kind of provisions such as tents, provision fo food and water of coures entertainment.
